Vintage Star Wars Princess Leia Organa SW 21B back MOC 1979 Kenner + R2-D2 VC149
You're my only hope! This lot now contains TWO (2) items. Vintage Star Wars Princess Leia Organa SW 21-B back MOC action figure (Kenner, 1979). 2 The Vintage Collection R2-D2 VC149 MOC action figure (Hasbro, 2024). The C-3PO MOC lot is NOT included here.
That set is posted as a separate listing. LEIA CARDBACK: This SW 21-B cardback is in good condition.It is mostly flat, with just a slight forward bend on the bottom left front corner. On the front side, there is a crease at the apex of the hole punch, a faint crease just to the right of the Hildebrandt logo, and another faint crease on the left side of Leia's image, from the bottom of the card up through Leia's nameplate.
There is also some minor litho damage across Luke's neck on the Hildebrandt logo and also on the left edge next to the Children's Palace price sticker. On the back side, there is a crease across the top left corner, a long crease down the top right corner, and creasing on both bottom corners. There is also some creasing where the top of the bubble was sealed on the front. There is a dent on the "k" of Patrol Dewback. There is minor shelfwear around the edges on the front and back sides of the card.
Finally, the litho on this cardback is generally very nice, with bright, vibrant color and very little scuffing and scratching. LEIA BUBBLE: The bubble on this Leia MOC is in rough shape but still displays well. The top of the bubble has lots of dents that extent from just below the left corner to just below the right corner.The sides of the bubble are pretty flat. The bottom of the bubble has the most severe damage, with crunching on both the bottom left corner and the stem.
The stem has a open crack along the full length of its bottom surface. It also appears that the bottom right flange of the bubble was never completely pressed and sealed during the manufacturing process; that corner has a slight ripple (but no waffle pattern) and lifts just slightly from the card.
Otherwise, the bubble is fully sealed with the waffle pattern all the way around. LEIA FIGURE: Princes Leia is in mint condition and has never been removed from the bubble. She is still very white (with barely-noticeable frosting on her right leg only), she wears her cape very symmetrically, and her blaster is still taped to the left side of the bubble.R2 CARDBACK: This VC149 R2-D2 cardback is in excellent condition, with no bends or creases. R2 BUBBLE: The bubble on this R2 MOC was crunched at the top but popped back into shape. It displays great, but minor wrinkles on the top of the bubble are noticeable upon close inspection. R2 FIGURE: R2 is in mint condition and has never been removed from the bubble. Please look over the pictures carefully as they are part of the item description.
