Vintage Star Wars Darth Vader Tie Fighter Vehicle. Excellent Original Condition

This is a great Tie Fighter. 40 years old and still looks amazing. The cockpit is canopy is clear with very little yellowing. The battery box is clean with no corrosion. The decals are original and the wings attach nicely to the body.

They can be jettisoned at a touch of button. The light is bright and the motor makes an strong laser firing sound. Please see pictures to appreciate it's condition. I have included all possible angles so you can see the whole body.

I disassemble each motor and clean the rotor and brushes which helps the motor operate and last longer but the parts will tarnish over time and the only way to fix them is to turn them by hand to get them moving. The great thing about them is they hardly ever stop working.

I've never came across one that will not work unless acid or corrosion is involved. All that is needed most of the time is to take the wings off and give it a shake while holding the button down. If that doesn't work you can take the top off (8 screws) and spin it by hand to work it loose. A few drops of machine oil to the shaft coming out of the plastic back plate will keep it working for a long time.
