Vintage 1978 Star Wars R2-D2 Takara Die-Cast Japan 100% Complete US Seller Rare

You will receive the exact item shown. This is the metal rocket firing R2-D2 from Takara. This figure was leased in 1978 and only available in Japan. The figure is made to shoot rockets out of his body with the switch on the back.

When you look through the viewing hole in his body you can see screen shots from the movie! This R2 is complete and in good condition. Figure comes complete with original unused sticker sheet, used rockets and the display stand. Also included is the extremely rare instruction sheet with sand paper that was included to show how to remove the rockets and sand down the edges.

I have only seen two of these in all my years of collecting as very very few survived. The box is in overall good to very good condition. Please see all photos for condition on the box.
