This Vintage Death Star playset is from when I was a kid in the 1970's and has been played with and enjoyed greatly. It comes complete with the rope, Dianoga trash compactor monster with original foam, laser blaster cannon, card board panels and the rest of the complete set. The blaster cannon's plastic hinge is broken on the inside and the back end nipple piece broke off.
The blaster cannon displays nicely but takes a little effort to get it to stand erect. All the plastic beams are included but there are a few broken off ends which are still lodged in the floor sleeves (see pictures). One of the top floor under-clips have broken off but still attaches firmly. The two small under-clips on the first floor have broken off but still sits nicely with no problems (please see pictures). One foot peg is broken off on the first floor.
The top/roof has 2 small cracks (hard to see)but still sturdy(please see picture). The card board panels do have some playwear to them as you can see in the pictures.Despite the above flaws the set stands pretty firm and can be lifted and carried carefully with both hands while applying equal pressure to both sides of the playset.
